Consultants, working on the issue of climate change and agriculture in the Cowichan Valley, will hand in their final reports today (Mon, March 31st).
The reports deal with agriculture extension services, farm water planning, agricultural processing and extreme weather events.

Lachman says another report due today (Mon) will deal with agriculture extension services which many believe is no longer necessary because the internet has all the information.
She says nothing replaces a local person with local knowledge and those people were lost over the years when the province moved away from providing regional agrologists.
