2 injured in Sunday night crash in Cedar

An accident Sunday night on Woodbank Road in Cedar sent one man to hospital with serious injuries.  A second was also hurt.

RCMP say it appears one of the vehicles involved crossed the center line, hitting another head-on. A 43 year old man was airlifted to hospital in Victoria. The 51 year old man who was behind the wheel of the other vehicle is in NRGH. He had his two children with him, but neither was hurt.

The investigation continues, but there’s word that police are looking at alcohol as a possible factor in crash.
