Traffic could get tight on Genoa Bay Road starting Jan. 28 as the Municipality of North Cowichan gets ready to perform vegetation management.
The road is expected to be closed until Jan. 30 and according to mayor Rob Douglas during the work Cove Yachts parking lot will be closed.
Crews will be working to remove dead, dying and dangerous trees from the municipal right of way between 6257 and 6261 Genoa Bay Road, and a release says flaggers will be in place for single-lane, alternating traffic.
The work is expected to be in full effect from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from Jan 28 to Jan 30.
