Four budget open houses are scheduled for this month to allow all residents of the Cowichan Valley the chance to have their say.
According to the CVRD, the budget has been prepared by regional district staff, and with several amendments being made, public consultation is welcome to offer any feedback before the plan gets adopted next month.
Open houses are scheduled to take place in the following locations;
Areas F, I and Town of Lake Cowichan – Wednesday, January 8, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Lower Hall, Cowichan Lake Centennial Hall.
Areas A, B, and C – Thursday, January 9, 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM at Shawnigan Lake Community Centre.
Areas D, E, City of Duncan, and North Cowichan – Tuesday, January 14, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Cowichan Community Centre – Somenos Room.
Areas G, H and Town of Ladysmith – Thursday, January 16, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Saltair Community Centre
