A Duncan teen will be able to see her dream artist perform in Vancouver thanks to an Island foundation.
The “Help Fill a Dream” foundation will send 18-year-old Kayla Dosen to Vancouver on December 7th to see Taylor Swift’s record-breaking Eras tour.
Kayla was diagnosed with a rare pediatric cancer called Chronic Myeloid Leukemia and Swift’s music has served as a constant source of comfort, hope, and inspiration for her.
“The strength, resilience, and joy she has shown are truly inspiring, and we’re excited to play a small part in making this incredible experience happen for her,” says Craig Smith Executive Director of Help Fill a Dream.
The foundation has been providing support and filling the dreams of children facing life-threatening conditions on Vancouver Island since 1986.
Everyone is invited to attend Kayla’s Dream Reveal at Country Grocer on Lake Cowichan Road on November 18th at 12 pm.
