Vancouver Island has been voted as one of the best islands in the world.
That comes from Condé Nast Traveller, a travelling magazine, who have put up a list of the best Islands in the world as part of the 2024 Reader’s Choice Award.
A total of 75 islands were voted in, all from places like Europe, Asia, Africa, the Carribean, and North America.
In the North America category, Vancouver Island is ranked number five on the list with a score of 91.43.

They say this makes Vancouver Island one of only two Canadian Islands on the list, and the only one from BC.
Cape Breton Island is the second Island, hailing from Nova Scotia.
