89.7 Sun FM/My Cowichan Valley Now is contacting all candidates in the October 19 provincial election to ask for their positions on the major issues.
We spoke to John Koury about the BC Conservative platform on healthcare, affordability and climate change.
A big focus for Koury is keeping the current Duncan Hospital operating as a health centre even after the new Cowichan District Hospital opens its doors. He says this will help expand access to healthcare in the Cowichan Valley and could function as an addiction treatment centre.
Koury says that the Conservatives are running a campaign of people from “all political stripes” who all want change.
