Ladysmith Council has given final approval to a series of new fees for things like rec centres and dog licenses.
The changes have been debated over the past several months, and at one point the even tossed around the idea of a special fee category for people who just wanted to uses the showers at Frank Jameson Community Centre.
Mayor Aaron Stone says the important thing, as Council sees it, is to have predictable, modest, increases over the next three years.
Stone says money from the 4 dollar increase in dog licenses is slated for a fenced in off leash park and better signage at Transfer Beach.
