4.7 magnitude earthquake recorded off Vancouver Island

An earthquake happened yesterday off the coast of North Vancouver Island.

According to Earthquakes Canada, the 4.7 magnitude quake happened at 5:41 in the evening on Monday at a depth of 5 kilometers.

The earthquake was recorded 186 kilometers west of Port Hardy, and 359 kilometers west of Campbell River.

Earthquakes Canada says that no one felt it, with no tsunami expected.
