A playground in Duncan was the target of arson early this morning according to the RCMP.
Around 2 am this morning officers from the North Cowichan Duncan RCMP detachment assisted the Duncan Fire Department after a report of a fire at Centennial Park.
The constable that arrived on scene described the playground as ‘engulfed’ in flames.
Police are asking the public for any information that might help identify the persons responsible.
