Twenty-five jobs are returning to the Ladysmith Sawmill.
Western Forest Products has announced the addition of a second shift in February.
Western said it has secured a reliable log supply, and with better market conditions it can now support two shifts.
Recruitment to fill the positions will begin immediately.
