Verdict in sexual assault trial of Cowichan Valley physiotherapist stirs conversation

The Cowichan Women Against Violence Soceity and the College of Physical Therapists of BC have chimed in on the guilty verdict in the sexual assault trial of a local physiotherapist.

Cowichan Women Against Violence Society’s executive director is Jane Sterk.

College official Brenda Hudson says there are systems in place to inform and protect people in the province.

The verdict in the Campbell Crichton trial came down on Tuesday at Duncan Supreme Court, with convictions on 8 of the 12 counts Crown prosecutors went ahead with.
