BC Ferries was the hot topic in Victoria, as MLAs returned to the Legislature after the Remembrance Day break.
Transportation Minister Todd Stone was on the hot seat in Question Period over a new report saying cuts and fare hikes have hurt the tourism industry.
Stone shot back, saying NDP leader John Horgan won’t admit the only plan his party has for Ferries is to raise taxes and increase the subsidy.
Last night, Stone held a Twitter Town Hall on his 10 year transportation plan. He got suggestions that included bridges to the Gulf Islands, having a new E&N rail service link with a passenger only ferry in Nanaimo, and making BC Ferries a Crown Corporation again.
