Shawnigan Lake RCMP are looking for the public’s help tracking down the driver a truck that took off after an accident Monday morning on the Malahat.
Just before 10:30 on the 10th, a small truck pulled onto the highway and hit a southbound SUV. The SUV veered across the road and rolled down an embankment. The driver had to be taken to hospital in Victoria.
RCMP say the truck was a small pickup, painted a dark matte grey with after-market rims. The driver was white, about 40 and had a moustache.
The truck will probably be damaged on the front, passenger, side.
