Mill Bay should have new boat ramp, boardwalk by next summer

The Cowichan Valley Regional District, Malahat Nation and Mill Bay Marine Group have signed a letter of understanding for a joint project that would see a new boat ramp built on Mill Bay Road
The CVRD’s electoral director for Mill Bay and Malahat is Mike Walker.
He says in addition to the boat ramp, the project would also see the contruction of a walkway.
Walker says the Malahat Nation will invest approximately two million dollars into the project.
He adds the ramp and boardwalk should be built by next summer.
