The Cowichan Valley School District is looking to bring two new schools to the valley.
The superintendent of School District 79, Joe Rhodes, says project identification reports have been submitted to the Ministry of Education that could lead to replacements for Cowichan Secondary School as well as a new elementary school for Lake Cowichan.
We asked Rhodes what happens if the reports get approved.
He says the reports identify the design as well as cost needed for the new facilities whenever capital is requested from the Ministry of Education.
