Parliamentary Secretary Jordan Sturdy facilitated a meeting at Duncan’s Service BC office on Tuesday about future transportation improvements on Vancouver Island.
The president of the Duncan Cowichan Chamber of Commerce, Julie Scurr, attended the meeting and is satisfied with what was discussed.
Scurr says the input received will help shape future public discussion on community transportation infrastructure and help the province develop a new 10-year plan .
She adds Sturdy is touring the island and will put together a report on his findings for Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Todd Stone.
