North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP say they are looking for the four men responsible for hospitalizing a 41-year-old Duncan man and his friend after beating them on Wednesday night.
Police say the man and a couple of his friends were gathered by the Cowichan River when they were approached by four First Nations men and two women.
They add the trio says they were the victims of an unprovoked attack when the four men began beating them.
RCMP say the 41-year-old was bleeding and unconscious when the call was made to police and wound up receiving staples to his head at the hospital while his 55-year-old friend suffered a minor concussion.
