North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP say they have a prolific offender in custody again.
Police say 37-year-old Ronald James was remanded on seven new charges yesterday including possessing a weapon, an imitation weapon, drug paraphernalia, controlled substance, having a knife outside of his home, noxious spray and breaching his ‘no go’ 10 kilometres of Duncan.
They add James is a designated prolific offender by virtue of his tendency to continuously commit crime.
RCMP say he was originally charged for allegedly threatening to kill a 25-year-old women after shooting her with a pellet gun on June 1st, however, he was released on numerous conditions hoping to curb his criminal behaviour.
Police say James now finds himself in custody awaiting his next court appearance for breaching seven of the 11 court ordered conditions he was bound by.
