The Cowichan Valley Crime Stoppers is celebrating success after they’ve received more than double the tips this year compared to last.
OverĀ 185 tips have been received through the anonymous tip program in the past year. TheĀ Crime Stoppers team have been proactive in sharing news through local media and on social media as well. Most notably, she says there’s been an increase in information received related to offenders with outstanding warrants.
Constable Amron Russell with the North Cowichan Duncan RCMP says in the coming year, they hope to reach out more to the marine community.
