1700 student athletes descend on Brentwood College

Mill Bay will be a busy place this weekend.

That’s because the annual Brentwood College Regatta goes starting tomorrow and running through Saturday and Sunday.

Ian McPherson, director of communications and marketing says crews from all over the Island along with several from the northwest U.S. will be among the nearly 17 hundred athletes taking part….

McPherson says the Regatta also offers students from the school’s entrepreneurship program a chance to set up a business, most of them food services, and run it throughout the event.

Proceeds from the businesses are donated to charities.
