The Cowichan Valley Regional District will be exploring ways to potentially improve the Alternative Approval Process.
CVRD Corporate Secretary Joe Barry says the idea will be presented to the Board in the near future, however, not before people in Area E have an option of using it.
He says Cowichan Station/Sahtlam/Glenora residents that are opposed to a tax increase to fund critical streetlighting can submit a form by Monday, January 25th.
Barry says if 10 per cent or more of the area’s voters oppose, the bylaw won’t go ahead unless there is a referendum.
