Island Health’s annual flu clinics are underway.
Medical Health Officers say they haven’t seen much flu activity yet, but that’s no reason to wait to get a shot.
Last flu season Island Health provided more than 215-thousand people vaccinations.
The health authority’s Val Wilson says the clinics are aimed at vaccinating as many people who are eligible for a free shot as possible.
Information about flu clinic times and eligibility can be found at immunizebc.ca or viha.ca/flu
