Federal Election 2015: Canada picks majority liberal government; NDP’s MacGregor wins Cowichan-Malahat-Langford

Canada has selected a Liberal majority government as Justin Trudeau will become the next prime minister of Canada.

Former PM Stephen Harper will step down as Conservative Party leader but will stay on as MP for his Calgary-area riding.

The NDP’s Alistair MacGregor won Cowichan-Malahat-Langford.

Juice FM spoke to MacGregor at his victory party in Duncan.

Sheila Malcolmson won Nanaimo-Ladysmith for the NDP.

Liberal Pam Golsdmith Jones in West Vancouver-Sunshine Coast-Sea to Sky Country.
