The Tour de Rock has turned south as the riders left Nanaimo on Monday afternoon.
Ian Wetzel Eden of the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP says he’s looking forward to seeing family and supporters, and his junior riders.
Wetzel Eden also says there’s also a bit of different feel now that the Tour is in the home stretch.
There are lots of events planned in the Cowichan Valley on Tuesday including a community breakfast in Chemainus, a stop in Beverly Corners and the Red Serge Dinner at Mellor Hall in North Cowichan.
