A collaborative search involving RCMP and several search and rescue organizations is currently underway in Duncan near Boys Road.
Cowichan Search and Rescue search manager Jamie Tudway-Cains says details can’t be released at this time but asks everyone to avoid the area of Black bridge to Cowichan Bay to allow crews to work.
He says people may notice search helicopters and drones in the area, and asks everyone not to be alarmed as this is common practice for a search of this nature.
