People travelling to and from Port Alberni on Thursday will have to plan around a road closure.
Highway 4 near Angel Rock and Cameron Lake will close from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on March 6 for a rockslide cleanup.
The work is being done in response to a slide on February 26, with the debris being intercepted by the barrier and fencing, but the catchment needs to be repaired as a result.
Removing the slide material for a time is required, forcing the work to be completed in good weather and daylight hours.

The highway will reopen once work is completed and there are no further closures being planned.
