North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP look for vandalism suspect

North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP are looking for help in identifying a suspect who they say smashed a glass door at a jewelry store in Duncan.

According to police, they were called to the scene of a business located on Station Street around 5:45 a.m. on Feb. 27 but failed to locate the suspect.

They say it appears no access was gained to the business but say video footage shows the damage done to the door.

“It was noted that a male suspect approached the front door of the business and smashed the glass before leaving on foot,” they say.
