A magnitude 5.0 earthquake struck off the coast of British Columbia on Monday, February 24th, at 9:37 PM Pacific Standard Time.
The quake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers beneath the ocean floor.
Fortunately, the earthquake was not felt on land, and there are no reports of damage or injuries.
Experts confirm that due to its offshore location and moderate magnitude, no tsunami is expected.
