College students are also getting no classes as North Island College announced their campuses in Comox Valley and Campbell River are closed for today.

Despite no in-person classes, the college says digital classes and those in independent practicums will still continue.

“Employees working remotely will continue to do so, but those scheduled to work onsite are not expected to come in due to safety concerns,” said North Island College.
