Innovators and agriculture enthusiasts attend farming trade show 

A wide assortment of workshops, networking opportunities and valuable insight is being offered during the Island Agriculture Show at the Cowichan Exhibition Park.  

The show is expected to run from Jan. 31 to Feb. 1 and is expected to offer a way for those interested in the show to connect, learn and engage with industry experts and peers. 

Attendees will be able to discover new technologies throughout the show, as well as learn from leading experts during panel discussions, and engage in specialized programs that are tailored for young farmers and small-scale producers.  

According to a release, the forum will also cater to young farmers, and school children who want to learn about farming in their community with demonstrations by the Vancouver Island Regional 4-H Council and the Pacific Northwest Raptors. 

Tickets are $25, which includes admission to the conference and show, and only $5 for the show.
