Holidays are over and now it’s time to decide how to get rid of your Christmas tree, thankfully there are several venues across the Cowichan Valley.
Tree chipping is being held in several locations by numerous venues looking to raise money for several causes this weekend.
In Duncan, the BC Forest Discovery Centre will be hosting their service, while in Mill Bay a service will be set up at Thrifty Foods and if you live in Shawnigan Lake you will be able to have your tree chipped at Mason’s Store and Patio.
The CVRD will also be holding an event at the CVRD Recycling Centre.

All venues will be held all weekend, from 10 to 4 p.m., with donations going to Camp Shawnigan and Easter Seals’ programs and services.
