The Executive Director of the Cowichan Green Community is stepping down after 17 years.
The organization announced Judy Stafford’s resignation last week in a social media post, calling her the “unwavering force behind CGC’s transformation into the impactful organization it is today.”
Cowichan Green Community says she took leadership of numerous projects and initiatives such as Duncan’s Seedy Sunday, the KinPark Children’s Summer Camp, the Cowichan Food Map, and the annual Donor’s Breakfast.
She mentored hundreds of interns, students, and staff, raised millions of dollars to benefit the community and spearheaded countless programs for the community.
Cowichan Green Community says Stafford will assist during the transition to a new Executive Director and will on hand for the opening of our new Food Hub facility on Beverly Street in 2025.
