To make sure the municipal budget meets the needs of residents, North Cowichan council says they’ve extended an open invitation to residents to have their say on services in the community.
The first community meeting is scheduled to take place in Crofton on Nov. 26 at 4:30 p.m. and will be followed by a special committee meeting to take place shortly after.
In a media release, the municipality says feedback on capital services, projects funded by property taxes, user fees, and other revenue sources will be welcomed by those who attend.
The event will be held at the Crofton Community Centre, and subsequent sessions will be held on Dec. 3 at the Cowichan Community Centre, and on Dec. 10 at the Chemainus Fire Hall.
