Advance voting begins today in BC election

Advance voting in the BC General Election begins today, from 8 am to 8 pm, at locations around the province.

There are six days of advance voting, and you may cast ballots from today until to Sunday, and on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, but not all polls will be open for the full six days.

Advance voting places and district electoral offices will be closed on Monday for the Thanksgiving holiday.

You can find information about where to vote on the Elections BC website, and ‘Where to Vote’ cards have been sent to every registered voter in the province.

In addition, you can cast a ballot at any other voting place in the province.

The cards list advance voting places in the voter’s electoral district, and their assigned voting place for Final Voting Day on Saturday, October 19.

All voters must prove their identity and residential address by showing acceptable ID or being vouched for.
