89.7 Sun FM/My Cowichan Valley Now is contacting all candidates in the October 19 provincial election to ask for their positions on the major issues.
Eden Haythornthwaite is running as an independent Socialist for the Cowichan Valley and spoke about what she would like the government to do for the people.
In terms of healthcare Haythornthwaite believes there needs to be more oversight on how the provinces spend healthcare dollars from the federal government.
She also believes that getting people into housing is the first step towards tackling BC’s homelessness and addiction issues.
