Fabrications set to re-open at new Canada Ave location

A local clothing store operating for years in the Cowichan Valley has announced a new location after a fire destroyed its previous storefront.

The fire happened on September 12th which saw the upper levels of Fabrications on Kenneth Street collapse rendering the building unusable.

Fabrications owner Jane Spencer says the store will reopen on November 1st at its new location in the old Uncle Albert’s Furniture building.

She adds the support and “kind words of the community has made each day bearable,” as they looked to reopen.
