Over 10 months of interviews and searching and following up on leads still have RCMP wondering what happened to a 22-year-old woman who was last seen in downtown Nanaimo.
Sherry Corrigal went missing in September of last year, and police say they’re still taking tips and info to help bring her home.
Reserve constable Gary O’Brien says someone this age will go missing this long, and someone must know something.
“For Sherry to be missing for upwards of 10 months is totally out of character for her,” he says. “As a result, this is suspicious and very troubling.
“Investigators have been and are continuing to utilize all available resources to help locate her.”
Friends of Corrigal will be searching in the south end of Nanaimo on Saturday along with the help of police to locate any clue or find anything that could help solve this mystery.
