Windy conditions continue to spread smoke from the Lizard Lake wildfire, which is burning about 27 kilometres southwest of Cowichan Lake.
As a result a new smoke advisory for the Cowichan Valley was issued on Thursday.
The Coastal Fire Centre says the blaze is now about 367 hectares but it’s also 35 per cent contained.
There are 169 firefighters, nine helicopters and heavy machinery working on the fire.
