Investigation into fatal hit and run in Duncan continues

Police in Duncan are still investigating a hit and run on April 18th on the Trans-Canada Highway. 

The collision took the life of 17-year-old Leanne Joe and closed the highway for several hours. 

Police have identified multiple vehicles that they believe are connected to the hit-and-run and are asking for the public’s help to identify the vehicle or the owners. 

Anyone with information on the vehicles or their owners is asked to call the North Cowichan Duncan RCMP non-emergency line (250) 748-5522.
