Nanaimo North Cowichan MLA Doug Routley is calling for reform at the Island Corridor Foundation.
Routley says the latest report on the long-delayed return of passenger trains to the E&N, and the ICF’s response, show changes at the organization are long overdue.
The report says the $15 million budgeted for track upgrades won’t be enough. But the ICF is arguing the report is based on wrong assumptions.
Routley says it all points to a bigger problem.

Routley says it’s time for the province and the feds to use their position as the major sources of money to push for something like a review committee.
