The CVRD Board will be going over the findings of a recent report about its’ economic development sector to ensure everybody is on the same page.
Chair Jon Lefebure says now is the right time to reconnect with the various groups involved in economic development because there is a new Board.
He says he agrees with the report, which didn’t paint a pretty picture of the sector’s current state, that communication and direction is essential moving forward.
Lefebure says the Board must first agree on the recommendations made before going over any new operating plans.
