Lefebure hopes to spotlight environmental issues in 2015

2014 was good to the mayor of North Cowichan, and he’s hoping it’s a sign of things to come.

As well as winning re-election Jon Lefebure, is the new Chair of the Cowichan Valley Regional District.  Lefebure says he’s hoping new faces on the CVRD Board and at North Cow Council will put a focus on the environment.


Lefebure says watershed governance will definitely be a hot topic in 2015 after another summer of concerns over low water levels on the Cowichan River.
