Major portion of construction work on Malahat wrapping up

A couple of big construction projects in the Cowichan Valley are close to being finished.

The regional manager overseeing construction on the Malahat is Darren Englund.

Work on the Malahat cost about $8,000,000 and should be completely done by spring of next year.

Meanwhile, North Cowichan’s director of engineering John McKay says work on Waterwheel Square in Chemainus could be done by the end of the week.
