Ladysmith man identified as victim of crash near Revelstoke

A Ladysmith man has been identified as the victim of a crash that happened November 24th near Revelstoke.

The BC Coroners Service says 53-year-old Gary Michael Rivett died in the crash.

Rivett was behind the wheel of an eastbound semi-trailer involved in a collision with a westbound semi-trailer on Highway 1, about 33 kilometers west of Revelstoke.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services are still investigating.
