Young Duncan girl receives top provincial musical award

A young girl from Duncan has received a prestigious award from The Royal Conservatory of Music.

10-year-old Mikayla Varga scored the top mark in the province on the Grade 1 Voice Exam and was rewarded over the weekend in Vancouver.
Florie Varga is a very proud mom.
Florie says Mikayla has been singing since she was five and has been participating in music festivals in the valley for the last three years.
