It’s a two-horse race to be the mayor of Duncan with the civic elections just a few sleeps away.
Incumbent Phil Kent is going head-to-head with newcomer Peter Lockhart Gordon.
Kent has been the mayor of Duncan since being elected in 2005 and says there are numerous issues he would like to tackle over the next four years.
Gordon, a lawyer who worked for the City of Toronto for well over a decade, would like to see some changes in Downtown Duncan.
Election day is on Saturday from 8am to 8pm at the Duncan Fire Hall.
Residents are reminded to bring two pieces of ID, one with your signature, that prove residency and identity.
Election officials say turnout for advance voting in Duncan was nearly double the number in 2011; a trend showing up in a lot of communities this year.
