Its been a long time coming and now some major repairs to the 146-year-old St. Peter’s Anglican Church on Tzouhalem Road are nearly complete.
Reverend Deborah Rivet first noticed problems with the buildings foundation a couple of years ago. She says alot has been done since thanks to widespread community support.
The project is not complete yes as the reverend estimates $45,000 of work remains to be done.
However, the first official service since the major repairs have been completed will be this Sunday at 8, followed by a family service at 10.
