Searchers will be out again Monday morning in the Maple Mountain and Mount Richards areas near Crofton trying to find a missing 79-year-old man.
Tony Morley was last seen September 21st. His car was found off Osborne Bay Road, in the parking area for the Maple Mountain trails.
Around 70 community volunteers turned out yesterday to help, along with Search and Rescue teams from other parts of the Island and the Lower Mainland.
Morely’s family says he’s in the early stages of dementia, and searchers are growing worried about his condition after so much time in the elements.
