The news that a tentative deal has been reached between the BC Teachers Federation and Public School Employers Association is a big relief for parents and teachers.

The superintendent of School District 79, Joe Rhodes, says there is some work to be done before kids are back in class.
The contract still needs to be ratified tomorrow and it’s not clear yet when the school year will resume but the most likely date would either on Monday or Tuesday.
